From Gypsy Cob to Grand Prix Horse Challenge

In the summer of 2023, myself and my partner both put in £350 each towards a gypsy cob. From then on, we sold a number of different horses and ponies doubling our money each time. We started the challenge again with a £600 budget and went on the same journey. Quickly turning our in total £1,300 into 1000s of pounds.

I documented our challenge on TikTok which vastly became followed by viewers and creating a number of engaged users who were excited by our progress. Spurring on many followers to want to do the same. After losing my horse of 11 years in March of the same year, it was a positive distraction for me and allowed me again to build up a budget to buy my own, plus have the Grand Prix horse.

In less than a year of setting ourselves the challenge, the TikTok account has gained a semi-viral interaction and following. We now find ourselves with our 5th horse in Challenge 1, having qualified for the Hickstead 4* British Speed Derby with him and featuring in an article written by the leading equestrian magazine in the UK, Horse & Hound (click here).
